Most people browsing the internet will visit and leave pages in quick bursts. Many of them don’t convert while on your website. Some of them may visit while your product is out of stock. Others may just be in the “curious” stage and not ready to make a purchase yet. The meta description is what appears as the description of a blog post in search engine results. This is the text that people will use to determine whether or not your post contains the information they are looking for. Creating incredible content that people will want to share is still the best way to earn links. Search engine optimization, while a very technical practice, is a marketing function—and it needs to be treated like one.
What does a good Backlink Profile look like?
Backlinks are absolutely key to boosting your site’s position in search engines, moving you from page 50 to page 5, from page 5 to page 1. But why? Well, according to most search engines, a site that is being talked about and recommended a lot online must be doing so for good reason. Mobile SEO should always
be a work in progress because there are always new things to improve. Also, technologies arrive or get discarded. Analyze your backlinks to identify the ones you feel are low-quality. These include irrelevant links from pages that carry no relevance to the content or keyword-stuffed anchor text, which is clickable text in a hyperlink. We all know that videos are a great way of keeping audience engaged and entertained. But do you know that by using enough videos, you can improve the ranking of your page on the SERPs.
Analyze clicks from Google Search
Make sure that every page has one call-to-action, so the goal of the page is clear. If you add multiple buttons, you lose the focus of the page and your visitors won’t get where you want them to go. It’s important to target
websites that are related to your niche, so their audience will enjoy and hopefully link to your content. A guest post on a relevant website will also help you attract leads. Search engines are starting to improve how they determine if a website is relevant or not. So targeting relevant websites would be a great start to future proofing your link building strategy. Your blog posts shouldn’t be treated equally. Only select the posts that had the biggest positive impact on your business. Use your website to communicate your value proposition and your general marketing
messages (known as “high-level messages”). If there is one page which should be optimized for generic
keywords, it is your homepage.
Are Press Releases right for SEO?
When writing an article or some content for your web page, remember- ‘spices add flavour to a dish and make it more appealing to our senses. In the same way, keywords are like spices to our content. Keyword density is good but, to create rich content, there should be variety in the keywords used. Just as Google has always been focused on providing its users with the best results, now it’s time to put your focus on what’s most important for your audience. Google has made it apparent that site speed matter in search rankings, and today, with a bigger emphasis on the user experience than ever before, site speed will continue to be a critical ranking factor. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant
: "If you're a relatively new blog & would be willing to write a blog post for the sake of getting one solid, contextual link, then blog carnivals are a no brainer. Basically, blog carnivals are a blog community that writes about certain topics as a group. These posts then get linked to from an issue, kind of like a magazine."
Optimizing websites for search engines can be quite intimidating if you are new to the topic
Speaking from experience, I have often seen product manufacturers describe a product from their point of view. Avoid thin, insubstantial content,
duplicate content and of course spammy-looking keyword stuffing techniques. The ‘no-follow’ breaks the connection you are trying to make between one website and the next, defeating the purpose of a link from the perspective of Google optimization (people can of course still click the link and visit your site directly). Without discounting the value of links and traffic, content is most likely the key element of a website's charisma. Good content will lead to links and traffic.
